Our Story
ZeroVacancy was founded with a mission of making quality, affordable apartments available to valued members of our communities.

Our founders, real estate principals with 60 years of combined experience involving the acquisition, financing, and management of $2B of residential and commercial real estate. In 2007 they orchestrating the acquisition of a portfolio including 28,600 apartments and been involved in the purchase and financing of more than 15M sf of commercial space.

Former teachers turned serial entrepreneurs, they also assembled a PPO doctor and hospital network that provided reduced-fee benefits to over 20,000 individuals, and subsequently leased the network to Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company. In 2000, Sam founded US Healthcard Inc., a co-op medical plan that provided reduced-fee benefits to over 32,000 individuals.

Combining their experience in management and co-op provider assembling, they founded ZeroVacancy. Partnering with local organizations nationwide they assist building owners in renting otherwise-vacant units to teachers, nurses, first-responders and government employees, as well as creative and handy qualified renters of all stripes for “as-is” units. In all cases, ZeroVacancy operates strictly as an advertising platform and collects a fee from the owner.
